Toshiyuki Inoko, ‘TeamLab’, 2001

TeamLab, a collective digital art project, discovers the relationship between art, science, technology and creativity. The exhibition is separated into several districts with different themes, which participants could interact with the art pieces freely. In this process, participants become part of the art. It is believed that the interaction is an effective way to help participants’ to get involved in the artwork.

Bot & Dolly, ‘Box’, 2013

Bot & Dolly, a design studio specializes in automation, created the stage performance art, ‘Box’. In the show, geometric graphics are projected on a moving physical surface. It creates an illusion of the real and virtual space, and evolves the discussion between space and images. Thus, I am going to study their inter-relationship in my project.
